following the death of Cecil the lion by the american wealthy dentist ,There are much things you can do to support African wildlife but probably To Buy a $2,400 gold-plated smartphone probably shouldn't be one .

this weekend, U.K. company Goldgenie offers a "limited edition" gold-plated HTC One phones for $2,470. A huge 10 percent of each sale goes to an organization devoted to conserving wildlife in Zimbabwe "the Friends of Hwange Trust" .

the gold phone was not developed in cooperation with HTC and the 24-karat gold plating emblazoned with this words "For Cecil and his Kingdom" not removable.

"We wanted to do something to help those working towards wildlife conservation where Cecil lived and we simply applied a charitable initiative to what we do, which is gold embellishing phones and lifestyle accessories," A spokeswoman for Goldgenie said.

their intentions are noble, even if you are paying an exorbitant fee for a gaudy golden phone . to give some money to organization working to support wildlife in Africa is good and better than nothing .

But some people still think that's too much , and you can just give that $2,400 to poor people and dying kids in africa .
